Wood stakeholder workshop, 19 March, 2010
During 19 March, 2010 the SMEPDO, LNCCI and GOPA together have organised the "Wood Stakeholder workshop" cochaired by Mr. Somdy Inmyxai, Director General of SMEPDO, Mr. Khanthavong Dalavong, General Secretariate of LNCCI and Dr. Manfred Matzdort, Director of HDRME/GTZ.The aims of this workshop are (1) to inform all participants of the proposed wood strategy ( 5 key interventions) in the scope of HRDME's value chain project and consult the stakeholders on the execution of these strategies, and (2) to develop concrete action plan for key interventions in 2010. There were 65 participants from concerned paries include both public and private organisations espesially the Teak Grower Association from Louang Prabang Province. This workshop supported by HRDME.
